How do hot lunches work?

Hot Lunch dates appear on the monthly school calendar when planned. Students bring home order forms that indicate a deadline by which they must be handed in. Students return completed forms and exact change for lunch in a Ziploc bag to their teacher by the deadline indicated, usually a week before the actual lunch arrives. PAC members count the money, deposit the funds into the PAC account and use a PAD cheque to prepay the order when it is placed.

On the day of the lunch, parent volunteers are organized by the PAC to come hand out lunches, plates, napkins, etc. Any parent can volunteer to take turns helping with lunches. If interested, contact a PAC member.
